What did I learn today ?

For my search engine exercise page my keywords are “Creative Web Design Urshula” which in google returns my pages and also Barbaras creative web design pages and also Stevens test site in the results.

WHY????

1. There is only 52,000 pages that google thinks are relevant to these search terms
2. “My” keywords of Creative Web Design Urshula actually appear on their pages- even if they aren’t targeting these words.

Moral of the story “Better to appear in a niche result than to not appear at all”

It will be interesting to see how their sites move within these search terms of “creative web design Urshula” which is the main reason for this post to see if it has any bearing at all on their search engine placements.

PS: another funny thing along these lines is my Creative web design visual statement page appears in the search results at number 6 for the terms “instructions on how to make your own coke can plane” according to my web master tools.

OK yes I do have the word coke on the page and plane and maybe even instructions but what the!!!
